4 stars because it is quite a process to apply.

Product went on easily and smoothly once I actually got to that point - seems a lot of people are skipping straight to install and it's not just a smear-on-and-go.I prepped with Turtle Wax Max Power car wash, a non-waxing car wash solution mixed to the strongest recommendation. Then used a leaf blower, towel, and chamois and some time in the sun to completely dry the car, flexing the trim several times to make sure water trapped in the seams got a chance to dry. This process takes a couple of hours, so patience is a virtue.I then applied the coating as recommended on packaging, wiping any that got on paint/glass with microfiber cloth which I then threw away. Be aware, the smell of this stuff is strong - I would NOT recommend doing it inside a garage. My RAV4, which has a lot of black trim, used 7 of the 10 towels. Application took an additional hour or so.Last, I let it dry for an hour, twice the recommended amount, then zip-waxed over it in a normal wash/wax operation. So now we see how long it takes to fade.

Lasted two washes, within 3.5 weeks

I got this product for my polyurethane front lip. I prepped it well, and it made a notable difference. I have it three stars because it definitely leaves streaks like everyone says. I don’t really care because most of my lip is under the vehicle. But most annoyingly, I’m pretty sure it’s supposed to come with gloves, hell even the bag says use “provided gloves” . Yet i opened the bag and no gloves to be found. They shouldn’t put two pairs of gloves on the kit description if there are none included. Update: after two washes the coat is failing. Let me start by saying yes, I prepped well... in fact I was very tedious about it because taking the bumper off and on of my car is too much work. So I wanted lasting results, but nah...also, not only is the coat coming off, but it doesn’t protect against UV, because underneath the coat, the plastic is getting sun bleached still.

    Great product!

Purchased this product for use on my 2005 Subaru Forester. All exterior trim had faded since car not garaged. Used 7 of the 10 wipes to do all exterior trim, including side mirrors and roof racks. The key to success is to go to a new wipe rather than trying to use less. The finished job is stunning. All trim looks new. You can not feel the dry project. It looks natural. Product has two yr guarantee. If the trim looks this good in a year I will be happy. Vehicle prep is key! I used a degreaser rather than Dawn. Extremely easy to use!

    This stuff actually works!

I have used several other products that were hard to apply and while they kind of improved the looks on my 2003 Avalanche, the plastics quickly faded back to a light grey. But this stuff is so easy to apply and it looks just great. I have washed it 4 times since the first application and I can't see any fading yet. But I tell you what, the simple application is worth the cost even if it doesn't last 200 washes but I have a feeling it's going to. Great product.

If used CORRECTLY the results are amazing

The trick is to move quickly and get, get it nice and wet and don’t look back. If you see a spot you missed, attempting to go over it again will cause the blotching/streaking you see in some of these pics. Do it right the first time, and you shouldn’t have any issues. If the wipe starts to dry, just grab a new one. You’ll thank me later.
