I was skeptical at first thinking to myself how can a wipe do be any beter than anything else you wipe on... Long story short it is and it's worth every penny.

    Very Effective

I use Cerakote on my pillar trim and it turned out fantastic. Before it was dull, matt finished but after applying Cerakote, it was more of a shiny, gloss finished. Be careful not to over wipe!

    Love this Stuff!!

Really like this product! I used it on my Jeep and really wish I would have taken before and after photos. Went on really easy, but you do need to clean. I washed with car soap, then dawn, and finished with wax and grease remover. No streaking no mess !! Would highly recommend and will buy again.

    Finally! The BLACK STAYS BLACK

Posted by PrintingAllNight on Aug 15th 2019

Cerakote Trim Coat Kit really works. The black trim on my 2005 GMC Sierra 2500 is black AND ITS STAYING BLACK. This stuff really works, wash after wash and day after day in the hot Texas sun. No more of those creams and dressings that disappear in a week or so. The price of Cerakote Trim Coate is a real bargain because it lasts. Great stuff. Highly recommended. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS! It’s not for glass, chrome or paint and you should apply carefully to get it only on the textured black plastic trim.

Don't let any moisture near it until it dries

Not a bad kit. However most of it came out really streaky even after constantly wiping away excess. But my rear bumper turned mostly white. I was in a garage, it had started raining, garage door was open my only guess is that a mist came in before it could dry.BUT from 20 feet away you can't see the streaks and it looks really good. What didn't streak or turn white looks amazing up close.to summarize take your time (took me an hour to get the results that I got) and don't let it get wet until it drys

    This stuff really works

These pillar post moldings are from a 1973 Ford Ranchero that I picked up as a project. I could not find these on the aftermarket so after reading about this product I decided to give it a try. My experience in the past with these wipe on products has not been very good for both trim and headlights so I was a little skeptical. Prior to receiving the product I scrubbed them using Dawn and a stiff brush. The 1st photo are the moldings prior to coating notice that the one on top has a lot of scratches on it as well as all the fading. Photo 2 is with the passenger side coated and the driver side still uncoated, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I even waited a full day before taking pictures because other products look great when wet and as soon as they dry it's just shiny ugly, not this stuff. Tonight (8/14/19) I coated the driver side molding, OMG I can hardly even see the scratches anymore. Photos 3 &4 show both moldings coated. The bottom line is I highly recommend this product for anyone who wants to keep their ride looking good or for those that are restoring an classic and can't find new aftermarket plastic products.
