CERAKOTE® Professional Ceramic Paint Coating

I was initially nervous about applying ceramic coating myself since I was a beginner and had never done it before. However, I wasn’t willing to spend $1,800 at the dealership for them to do it. So, I started watching a lot of YouTube videos, but most seemed focused on promoting sponsored products. That changed when I found the interview your CEO did with @imjoshv’s detail channel. The honesty and straightforwardness really drew me to your brand. As for the ceramic coating itself, it was super easy to apply. The “sweating” feature and the five-minute wait time were spot on. Even when I missed a few spots, it was easy to correct without leaving high spots. The gloss and shine were incredible. I’m definitely a believer now. First time installing a ceramic. Great results, only issue I had was instructions say wait 5 min before leveling, but that is dependent on your conditions and 5 min was way too long for me. Hard to remove at that point. Once I adjusted it was easy and the end result was great. Nice gloss, super slick!!

I have installed probably a half a dozen different brands of coatings and the Cerakote ceramic has a different flash characteristic than most of the others I’ve used. Also, it seems like the coverage area doesn’t seem to go as far as other coatings I’ve used, therefore the bottle of product goes a little too quickly. I just installed it on my customer’s vehicle, so I don’t know about the hydrophobics yet. I plan on continuing to try Cerakote out on future jobs I do

I really like this coating. I put it on my wife’s 4 runner back in July and it’s preforming exceptionally well. I’ve had many people ask me what I use on her car and her coworkers have asked how it stays so clean for so long . It gets washed regularly and does not see an automatic car wash at all , just my preference. I just ordered a second one to put on my daughter’s car so I can’t wait to get started. This is the first true ceramic coating that I've ever used. Went on quickly and easily and seems to be holding up well.
