CERAKOTE® Ceramic Trim Coat Restoration Kit

Let me start out by saying I used Cerakote on my 2005 Chevy Avalanche without cladding. I started with the three piece tonneau cover. I removed them and placed them on my work bench inside of my garage. They along with the rest of the trim on my truck was so bad they were actually white/gray. I used one applicator per panel, so a total of three applicators. After an hour I began to notice streaks and white blotches. I decided not to use the product on the rest of the truck until I could talk to Cerekote. I called Cerekote the next morning and talked to a technical support guy. Outstanding customer service! After explaining my issues and emailing him some pictures he was able to deduce what the issue was. He explained that Cerekote is a CLEAR product and it contains no Dyes. In the end my trim was just to sun bleached. He apologized for the inconvenience and within an hour reimbursed my money through Amazon and he sent me a new replacement kit over night! Even though I didnt use the product on very much of my truck I am 100 % sure that it would have worked if it werent the state of the damage. Cerekotes money back guarantee and the fact that they did everything to make it right speakers volumes about theyre integrity. They reimbursed me for my original purchase of $25 the sent me a replacement kit $25 and they UPS me the replacement overnight at their expense. A total of over $60! I really was impressed with this product after having applied itto multiple pieces of textured/coarse trim. However, when it came to the last piece of trim which was smooth - it was a mess and looks terrible - streaks everywhere. I now need to figure out how to remedy. Some notes on applying: make sure the surfaces are clean, dry, and cool. Use a in a well ventilated area (I applied in a closed garage and the fumes were overwhelming after an hour). Consider using painters/detailing tape to prevent accident application to surrounding areas - this really helped. Again, looks great when properly applied to textured/coarse trim and surfaces, but do not attempt on smooth areas. Not sure why the manufacturer does not mention this.

Works beautifully, make sure you apply on a sunny day; rain drops will spot the application.

This product worked great on my Dodge Ram Ram Box covers. They were almost white. After applying this product they now look great.

This stuff works great at least for me. I dont know what the deal is with some of the bad reviews. Just follow the instructions it works great. I used it on my 2017 Jeep Cherokee trailhawk which they plastic wasnt too faded but I wanted to rejuvenate it and it did just that! I just washed it then let it dry then used dawn dish soap to wash just the plastic trim let it dry then I applied it about 7pm that night let it dry and went to work at 6am and it rained that day and it still looked great even after the rain

Better than most others I have tried, but still doesn't have the "like new" look I was hoping for
