Almost 5 stars
This stuff works great and makes any plastic look like it's right from the factory. I have had the first coat on for about a month and it's still holding strong. There are 2 reasons why I didn't want to go with 5 stars. 1, it's easy to not get an even coating in some spots. Definitely user error, but it's hard to see when you are applying, so I have some spots in the corners that aren't as uniform as the rest. Could probably just put on a second coat, but just a tip. 2, is that especially if you have a darker colored car, DON'T get it on the paint. I was really careful and followed the instructions on wiping it off, but even so, I have some marks on the paint right under where the plastic is that I am really hoping come off over time. It's really only something that I notice when I get up close, but again, just probably user error, but be super careful when you apply it. I might even tape off areas if you can. Overall, it does what it says, looks great, and has lasted through snow storms, salty roads, and car washes over the past month or so. Just be really careful and take your time when you apply it.

It Looks Great...But....
The single-car kit comes with 10 individual packages and two pair of black surgical gloves. Each package contains a single 3 x 3 inch cloth soaked in Cerakote. Be warned! Although 10 packs looks like a lot, use each cloth judiciously or you can very easily run out of product without covering your entire vehicle. The Cerakote itself is easy to apply. Simply open the packet(s), put on a pair of gloves and go to town on your ride. The product on each cloth lathers very easily, but dries out fairly quickly. Don't spend too much time applying excess product on a single area. If you do, the cloth dries out. Then, you either have uneven coverage or you have to use a second pack / cloth. I suggest covering as much of the desired area as quickly as you can with each new cloth. Once an initial coat is applied, go back and more deliberately spread the lathered product more carefully to other areas in more detail to make sure you have even coverage. Apply Cerakote...FIRST...to the most visible areas of your bumpers / trim. Once they're covered, focus on less visible areas. Otherwise, your cloth dries out and you have to use a second one to get equal coverage in the most visible areas. Even being careful, I BARELY had just enough Cerakote to completely cover the bumpers, tire guards and step rails of my 2007 Jeep Wrangler. I strongly suggest stepping back to examine and touch up your work before moving onto the next section. Use each cloth until it's completely dry and non-usable. If you have to use too many cloth strips on a single section than you won't have enough to finish. The product went on perfectly for me and my ride looks great for the most part. The hardest part was completely covering the raised notches on my step rails. My finger tips are still sore! Still, the trim looks completely revitalized and almost new. That said, looking at my ride the following day there are a couple of areas in which stains are still slightly visible and 2-3 white spots. Pretty sure that the spots are where I dripped sweat while working. There's also a sizable spot on the back bumper that isn't fully covered. It was the last spot on which I worked. I went over it, but my cloth had dried out. I would have touched up all those spots but didn't have enough product. I'm giving Cerakote 3 stars. Although it goes on well and looks great, there's insufficient product in the kit and I can easily see many people being unable to finish. I would easily give Cerakote "4 stars" if there was slightly more product included in the kit. My recommendation to the manufacturer would be to add a couple extra individual cloths to the single-car kit.
