Cerakote Trim Coat is a durable ceramic coating which bonds to the pores of unpainted plastic trim, restoring it to its original appearance. But it doesn't stop there! Once applied, it cures to form a ceramic layer of protection. We're so confident in our Trim Coat technology that we guarantee it to last for at least 200 washes.

Stay away from textures
If you are looking to restore a surface with a texture, don't get this. The application process and materials used keep the product from accessing the cracks. This should be in bottle form with the ability to apply it with a sponge in my opinion. If it was that would give it a 5 star rating in my mind.

Great shine to all trim.
I saw a video review of this product on the Project Farm YouTube channel. They tested several trim restorer product and long story short, Cerakote was the top dog, so I bought some for my 2017 F250. I live in the Central Valley of California where the sun can ruin a vehicles finish/trim in just a few year. I was already looking for something since I dechromed my truck in favor of black trim accessories. I spent the day cleaning, as per the directions and applying Cerakote to my trim. Wow, so much better than the 303 protectant I was using. Now we'll see if it lasts as long as Project Farm stated. Overall, I'm happy with the results thus far. One bit of advice, get a respirator to wear as you apply this stuff. It comes with two pairs of nitrile gloves, but the fumes quickly gave me a headache. My fault since I had a 3M respirator, just didn't choose to wear it until it was too late. I was in my garage with all door open and a large fan blowing, you could still smell the fumes several hours after I moved my truck outside.

Does a great job.
Great stuff, really makes trim black and last a time. I use to use Back to Black, not any more.

From ugly grey to awesome black *updated*
*Update* I noticed some differences between my results after further inspection the day following application. I still see amazing coverage and darkening on most verticle surfaces (mirrors, door handles, grill trim). However, the results I witnessed on horizontal, upwards facing surfaces (truck bed trim, bumper top, and plastic windshield wiper cover) had decent to minor improvement at best. I still feel this is a good product, but with tempered expectations. Decreasing rating to 4 stars. *Original review* I had seen this product on project farm and decided to give it a try on my 2005 Ford F150. In short, the results on my door handles and window trim is nothing short of dramatic. I had previously tried another product that promised to make my great trim turn black, but the effect was minimal. This product changed my gray to straight dark black with no streaks no splotches and totally even coating. This is one of the best products I've ever used.
