Cerakote Trim Coat is a durable ceramic coating which bonds to the pores of unpainted plastic trim, restoring it to its original appearance. But it doesn't stop there! Once applied, it cures to form a ceramic layer of protection. We're so confident in our Trim Coat technology that we guarantee it to last for at least 200 washes.

Better than expected
I didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised at how well it brought back the plastic trim on my 2004 F-150.

DO NOT BUY! Streaks
This product is horrible. My fenders look worse than when I started. It has left my fenders streaky. My side steps and taillights look good, but the fenders look bad. Hopefully it doesnt last for 200 washes and I can go back to Mothers Back to Black aerosol spray.

Really easy to use and dries quick. No oily residue.
I've tried everything to get my 2012 Nissan Cube roof trim, window cowling and mirror trim plastics back to black and was a bit skeptical on how well this wipe on product would work. I watched the product's video on how to apply it and followed the instructions and it was pretty easy to do. I got some on my paint and windows but was able to safely wipe it off with a shop rag as I was applying it. Dries quick and doesn't feel sticky or oily like other products. The plastic looks really black and "wet" which is awesome. I haven't seen my plastic look so good since the car was bought off the dealers lot years ago. Really satisfied with this product. The only downside is there were some minor streaks left in the smoother plastic window cowling. Not bad but a little noticeable if you look for it. The cowling was textured plastic but maybe not as textured as my mirrors. Oh well still looks fabulous and only used 2 wipes. Just take your time and do it in a cool, shady, well ventilated place and you're gonna do just fine.

Longevity
Very easy to apply and mine has been on for months and looks as good today as when applied.

Clean your surface first
Picture of my trim before and after cleaning with sponges. "B" pillar trim half done to show removed oxidation. This is "before" applying Cerakote. Make sure to clean the surface of your trim first with Mr CLean magic eraser or melamine sponges. Looks great after applying Cerakote afterward.

Works for most car applications. Great product.
Excellent product. It works really well on several year old plastic. Restores it just like new. Tried it on foot steps that were more than 10 years old and it made them better but not great. It works best on newer plastics.
