Does exactly what they say it does

Posted by Danny M. on Jun 9th 2020

First of all this stuff is amazing. I will never buy another bottle of trim dressing again. I will say that you should be aware to move quickly when you first start applying out of the sealed packet. As you apply and the applicator starts to dry you slow down. The customer service is excellent. I will buy more!

Impressive! Easy to use but prep is key!!

Posted by wfpdx on Jun 6th 2020

this stuff is actually quite impressive. I've applied it to the plastic on our Subaru and it keeps it looking excellent. preparation is key so you absolutely need to have a very clean substrate on which to apply it and do wipe it down with a panel prep type of solution BEFORE applying this product. a little goes a long way but they aren't kidding about switching to a new wipe when the first one is soiled. you can end up with uneven appearance if you go too long with a dirty wipe. this is a chemical and it does smell bad during application so be sure to use in a well ventilated area, without fail.

Needs much more prep work than stated

    Posted by WFD219 on Jun 4th 2020

This seems to work as advertised. Heres my problem, the instructions dont go far enough in detailing the amount of prep work required. Wash with Dawn and let dry. is not sufficient. I did just that. Waited two hours for it to dry after toweling. Applied Cerakote and it looked great for a couple days. Then I noticed what looked like water spots appearing under the coating. Apparently it wasnt clean enough and now the according to them after seeing the photos, the coating is permanent and can not be removed. Im now stuck with permanent water spots on my Jeep. What really needs to be done is a dawn wash, magic eraser style scrub, APC cleaning and then application then cross your fingers and hope that spots dont appear in two days and last forever. They refunded my money but I wish I never bought it.
