    not enough wipes

i used it on a silverado, and while it does look good when you put it on, it does leave imperfections. i have noticed some areas where it looks like the ceramic coat is bubbling off. I cleaned it with soap, then isoproyl alchol, and applied. I followed all instructions. Giving it an extra coat or two will solve the issue, but there are not enough wipes. I have multiple spots where it does not look good, but I dont really wanna buy another kit when I could buy megiaurs uppdate: Some of the trim, the cerakote is not sticking. It has a white apperance, which is flaking off.

    Lay it on thick, boys

I am thrilled with the immediate performance! I applied the product to my rear plastic around the bumper and waited a day to see how it dried etc before doing the rest of my car, and I would say that the product works quite well! Youll get a bag that has about 8-10 (sorry I didnt actually count) individually wrapped cloths that are presoaked in the product. Rip one open and get going! On that note- I ended up using all but 3 of the packets to do my whole car - but there is quite a bit of black plastic trim on my car. If I were doing my Miata this would certainly be two full applications. One thing I will say is that I essentially made the decision to simply get a new pad once the one I was using seemed to be about 75% used. This meant that it was much easier to apply the product to the textured trim, and meant I was putting in little to no elbow grease. Someone else said that it dried hard on their smooth trim and they couldnt get it off which I can totally see being possible. I was extra careful to wipe off any product that got somewhere I didnt want it (ie paint) but even so I got some on the edges of glass and it dried almost immediately and I definitely couldnt get it off with a towel. BE EXTRA CAREFUL!! Also I noted one other review that had photos of some streakiness on a textured trim piece and I do think that a heavier application or second coat of the product may have helped there, but thats just a guess as Im not entirely sure what their application process was. Ive uploaded a before and after, and you can see that my trim isnt really a deep black, but Im pretty sure that it is currently back to a factory look. Ill be doing my smooth black trim later on and planning to compound and polish it as if it were clear coat and I think that will do nicely to mitigate any splotchiness etc. there.

Doesnt work on all plastic. But overall a good product.

Doesnt work on all types of plastic, but it did a good job for the most part. Only a couple of car washes in but it seems to be staying just fine.
