CERAKOTE® Ceramic Headlight Restoration Kit

This kit was recommended to me by my friend. It was very easy to use and I highly recommend this for it's price and results. I bought this for my 98 civic and was able to get great results by following the directions. If done properly, it shouldn't take more than 30 min total to restore your headlights, and then waiting 60 minutes for the product to completely dry as instructed. I will def be buying this for my other vehicles.

Pretty easy to use, directions are well written. Just finished today and so far they look great. Well see how long it lasts.

This product is amazing... well done

It works and it requires less equipment than an orbital and rubbing and polishing compounds. I just applied it so I don't know how long it will last. Both headlights look better than they ever have, since they were a little yellow even when I bought the car ~70k miles ago when it had 65k on it. The only thing you really need to keep in mind is always use gloves, always use water when sanding, and make a point of getting everything as dry as possible before applying the sealant. Even a drop of water will completely mess up the process. Ask me how I know.

I had very mild hazing in the corners of my headlights. I followed the instructions on the prep work of cleaning and sanding. But one side did not go on even and seemed to be rough. I assume there must have been particles still on the surface before I out on the final coat. After 90 minutes I lightly sanded the bad side with the gray final sanding paper, rinsed it off and wiped it with a clean towel. After letting it dry a second coat did the trick. It's too soon to tell how long this stuff will last. It does look good.

FINALLY somebody developed and put out onto the market a truly effective product to address the issue of dingy/oxidized/clouded over headlights. For the longest time it was hard to find one that really worked and all the articles on the internet on tricks like using toothpaste, vinegar, etc ultimately do not work I have found. This product here turned out to be truly transformational as far as the look of my car. The instructions could not have been any better laid out which was impressive....like you could tell they really took the time to make it super user friendly and simple for the consumer. The whole process took me maybe 45 min but I am very detail-oriented and meticulous (or at least I aim to be lol) and therefore take more time than probably most people plus I also did the complete 3-step process on one headlight at a time start to finish before moving on to doing the same thing on the second one whereas I believe the instructions have you doing each step on both headlights at the same time as you go through them. Bottom line is it cleared my headlights beautifully as promised to where the past few days since using the stuff I just have to take a second look at em as I'm leaving my car. All that remains to be seen now going forward is how well the ceramic coating that is applied during the final step performs as a seal/protectant to prevent the lights from re-oxidizing/clouding up again etc. because all the videos I watched on this product says that you only need to use it once and it should keep things clear for the life of your car which if true is just OVER THE TOP impressive. Even if it only holds up for a couple of years it's an easy 5 stars across the board for me (but if it goes back to the way it was in a few months I'll be right back here to modify/adjust my review and my rating) so GREAT JOB CERAKOTE!
