One of the best headlight restoration products I have ever used.
After having recently used the CERAKOTE Ceramic Trim Coat Kit on some badly faded plastic cladding on my 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche and seeing how well that product worked, and having seen some reviews of the CERAKOTE Ceramic Headlight Restoration product, I decided it would be a good idea to give this product a try. I bought two kits and restored the headlights on both a 2012 GMC Acadia and a 2004 Cadillac Escalade EXT. I have used other headlight restoration kits on the Escalade and our Toyota Camry in the past. The other kits involved using a drill mounted sand papering process and while the initial finished product looked better, the lenses were never really clear and the frostiness returned within a short period of time. Had those kits came with some sort of protective coating, perhaps the lenses would have stayed clearer for a longer period of time. One big difference with the CERAKOTE product is the use of a chemical based oxidation removal process before any sanding of the lenses occurs. This process is nothing short of amazing. The headlight lenses on both of my vehicles were amazingly clearer just after removing the oxidation with the cleaning pads. The next process of using two different grits of sandpaper was much quicker and easier than using a drill mounted sanding pad. I suggest following the instructions to the letter and even spending at least a little bit more time wet sanding before moving to the final step. Keep the surface of the headlight lens very wet during this sanding process, constantly applying water from a spray bottle to the lens while you are sanding. When you are finished sanding the lens, you should have a light, even, frosty appearance across the entire lens. If the lens is not evenly frosted and smooth, you have not sanded it enough. You have to remove the old, worn out factory clear coat from the lens for best results. The more time and effort you apply during the sanding step, the better your final result will be. Only sand the lenses in straight horizontal strokes. When finished sanding, thoroughly rinse off the headlight lens and surrounding area. Completely dry the entire area. Using a leaf blower here can really help clear away any hidden water. Everything MUST be perfectly dry before proceeding to the final step. Plan the passes you want to make before you open the coating package. Start at an uppermost corner of the headlight lens and evenly pull the applicator from one side of the lens all the way over to the far side covering the lens evenly in one straight pass. Return to the side you started from and make the next pass with a 50% overlap of the previous pass. Do this until you have reached the bottom of the lens. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO APPLY ADDITIONAL COATS. If you miss a tiny spot on the very edge of the lens, you can carefully dab a tiny amount of coating to the uncovered spot only. But, it would be better to be very careful to cover every spot on the first and only pass. Addition application of the coating over an already coated spot on the lens will ruin your efforts. You have been warned. Don't do it. When finished, allow the vehicle to remain still and dry for at least an hour. Done. The final result of the restoration of the lenses on both of our vehicles is nothing short of amazing. Never have I ever gotten results this good. I was in the process of purchasing some very expensive replacement headlights for both of these vehicles, but now I see no reason to do so. Only time will tell how well this product lasts. But, at this point, I would be willing to repeat the process after a year or so. It looks that good. Thank you, CERAKOTE.

I would recommend product for price vs removing and replacing headlights !
The product is really simple to use ! 3 steps like described ! The 3rd step seems to have smear lines that will dry that way but let product dry about an hour and keep towelette in pkg with top opened folded over because the towelette will dry out fast ! Then re-apply over smears and lines should come out . It takes a while but is worth the wait of clarity of finished lenses ! You may get the coverage right as the directions says to apply but a second wipe may be needed ? Make sure you watch how to use the product on YouTube if you dont like to read the directions ! As far as durability of time that the ceracote will last , supposedly a lifetime without dis-coloring again , remains unknown ?
