Great product and easy to use. I used a competitor product about a year ago only to have it yellow out again. This one was definitely easier to use and looks better after. Highly recommend.

Works great but might need to spend more time sanding

Works great! I will tell anyone whos using the product to tape off the surrounding paint with painters tape. I did and Im glad I did, went through the tape with the sanding process and saved my paint job. Also, spend more time sanding than the recommended 2-3 minutes as the process did not make the lights perfect. I wish the kit had more disks and recommend twice the time for sanding. I think extra sanding would have made all the difference in the end so spend some extra time on that step. Otherwise Im very satisfied with the kit and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Saved me $600+ for a set of aftermarket headlights in my IS F.

rough start, spectacular finish, great company

BLUF: Headlights look great. Oxidation is gone. Lenses are clear. Company stands behind its product. Photos are: - streaked after first attempt - intermediate (one finished, the other sanded) - both finished - closeup of finished headlight (my reflection shows how clear it is) I had to treat one headlight twice, and the other three times before getting a great result. After the first application, both headlights had streaks as shown in the first photo. I contacted the manufacturer and explained what happened. They said trying to do touchups causes streaking (true but incomplete explanation), and sent me materials to redo the sanding and reapply the coating. I tried to do each headlight in as little time as possible, and one turned out fine, but the other streaked again. Finally I figured out the one detail that, had any of the instructions told me this, would have allowed me to do a single treatment. COMPLETELY FINISH EACH AREA BEFORE MOVING TO ANOTHER. After wiping the coating over an area the first time, small gaps or inconsistencies appear. You don't want those, so you'll need to go over those spots again. IF YOU DON'T DO THAT WITHIN ABOUT 15 SECONDS, THE COATING FROM THE FIRST PASS WILL START TO TACK UP, AND TOUCHING IT AFTER THAT WILL CREATE STREAKS. So, start at the top, make sure it is completely covered and smooth, and then move downward. DO NOT WIPE THE ENTIRE HEADLIGHT FIRST, AND THEN GO BACK TO FIX PROBLEMS. I explained this to the company after the second treatment, and they sent me more materials to fix the headlight that was still streaked. My plan worked, and the result was perfect. Cerakote is a great company. Like I said, they stand behind their product. They listened to what I said, realized I had discovered how to apply the product correctly, and sent me materials until it was done right. They did ask me to verify my purchase before providing me replacement materials, which is entirely reasonable, so I provided it.
