This product works very well. Just follow the instructions. On one light I thought I missed a spot so I wiped back over it......wrong move. I smeared the finish. Do not try that. Just apply the finish one time and youll be good. As good a finish as professionals charge $125 for. Only takes 15-20 minutes.

    Time and $ Well Spent

Used this kit on 2013 F150 HID headlights and fog lights (one kit) that have been parked in the sun since purchased new. Watched a video or two, took my time getting everything taped off with blue painter's tape to protect the paint while sanding, and got after it. Didn't notice much difference after using the first step wipes, although the wipes did turn yellow (which lessened with each additional wipe used). As recommended by others I tried using a timer to set 3 minutes per side, but due to size of the headlights and extent of oxidation I probably spent closer to 10+ minutes per side with the 3000 grit to get the entire lenses sanded and to remove some nicks and scratches picked up over the last 8 years. Also ended up removing the sandpaper from the included pad and sanded by hand to apply a little extra pressure and remove more lens material. I didn't stop sanding until the entire lens was well sanded with no remaining clear or shiny areas. Used a leaf blower to dry which worked well. The final coat wiped on easily and gave immediate results. Once applied DO NOT try to touch up...I had a couple of very small areas that were missed and when I did a second quick hit on these areas it resulted in a little accumulation on the areas already coated, but it is hardly noticeable as small as the areas were. A second wipe on a larger area would've made an uneven mess and probably required re-sanding. The instructions do say, in all caps, to only apply once and for good reason. All in all I am very happy with the product. Doesn't look exactly like new...but my driver's side was in pretty bad shape and now is very close. All lights look 100x better than they did. My biggest points of advice would be to take your time with the 3000 grit paper to make sure the entire lens is sufficiently sanded and make sure to make solid contact with the final wipes to prevent any gaps or missed areas. Wish I'd taken before pics, but the driver's side had gotten very bad from always being parked on the southern side and as you can see looks pretty dang good now. Definitely $$ well spent vs. buying new headlights. Will have to wait and see how long it holds up...
