CERAKOTE® Ceramic Headlight Restoration Kit

I loved this. Ive used the 3m one before and found this one less intimidating and final result was much better. Ill update if longevity doesnt hold up, but ceramic coating should last for years

I had my 10 year old son help me. i've used other kits in the past that didn't get as good of results. No drill was super convenient with great results!

My wifes TL didnt have heavily oxidized lenses but it was enough to notice and made the car look old. I chose this since it seemed the easiest (i.e. no power tools). After watching a video or two about it I gave it a try. I must say the process was easier than it looks. The step 1 oxidation remover was awsome, the sanding disks worked perfect. Then came step 3... The first headlight came out perfect, absolutely perfect. The second headlight, not so much. But it wasnt the product's fault. The instructions make it very clear to put ONE coat in a 50% over lapping single direction. Well i got a case of the Dutch touch and tried to go back down the center on the lens after the whole coat. This stuff dries FAST! It was sl8ghtly tacky and it pulled the coating and looked like i ran a 200 grit sandpaper down it. I called Cerakote's help line and asked how to fix it and if it was just a matter of getting a new kit and starting over. I was suprised when I was told that they have repair kits and they would send out steps 2 and 3 to me at no cost, all I needed was my Amazon order ID and they would send one. And three days later I have a pack with two grey and red sanding discs (step 2) two ceramic coating wipes (step 3) (eventhough id only need 1 for a single head light) and another pair of gloves. Try to get a Chinese company to take care of thier customers like that. Ive been happy with Cerakotes other products and this is no less amazing and with great customer service ( and they even speak English too with out an Indian accent} I didnt think that was even possible anymore. Im glad they proved me wrong. If my other cars need a headlight job, I wont look at anything other than another kit from Cerakote. Ill just remember not to screw around so long with step 3, wipe on and leave it alone. Its thier product and they know better how to apply it, so listen to them.

Love this kit. Super easy directions and worked like a charm. Huge difference and it's guaranteed for as long as you own your car.

This is a great product. Very easy to go on and it really last a long time.

Still waiting to see the durability of the product but there should be an additional step of polishing as the headlights still have some haze from the sanding stages. Not impressed.
